Om denna roll

Silex Microsystems is the world’s leading pure-play MEMS foundry, customizing solutions for prominent global clients in industries such as pharmaceuticals, consumer electronics, and automotive. The Analysis team owns a big part of the in-line measurement processes at Silex, and is therefore a key determining factor in our overall manufacturing quality. As we continue to grow rapidly, we are now looking to strengthen the team with a new member who can help take our Analysis area to the next level. Read more about Silex here. The Area The Analysis Area at Silex focuses on metrology and in-line measurement processes that keep our manufactory precise and reliable. We work with techniques like film thickness, step height, resistivity, particle measurements, and electron microscopy which are essential for process control and product quality. Using tools such as ellipsometer, reflectometer, profilometer, particle counters, and a variety of microscopes, the team aims to provide accurate data and analysis to support our manufacturing areas in both development stage and production. The area is still growing, which means there is room for improvement such as calibration procedures to make our processes even stronger. We are also in the process of buying new tools, increasing the measurement stability and capacity at Silex. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to shape the future of the area, learn advanced measurement techniques, and contribute to next-generation technology development in metrology. The role As a Process Engineer in the Analysis area, you will play a key role in the development, optimization, and sustainment of Silex’s in-line measurement processes (film thickness meas., step height meas., resistivity meas., etc). These measurement processes ensure that our manufacturing is stable and repeatable, and that our customers’ products meet high-quality standards. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop quality controls, drive process improvements, ensure product quality, and support the development of next-generation technologies. You will be spending roughly 50% of your time in the cleanroom. In this role, you will: • Develop and optimize measurement processes for MEMS manufacturing. • Provide technical support and expertise to quickly resolve process-related issues. • Define and perform Type 1 gage studies and MSAs to determine capability and amount of variation in our measurement systems. • Collaborate with the service team and equipment suppliers to ensure equipment stability and qualify new equipment. • Set up new measurement recipes for development batches and handle production stoppages. • Work with internal product managers to ensure customer requirements and delivery goals are met. We are looking for someone who has: • Knowledge of material analysis techniques such as reflectometry, ellipsometry, SEM and AFM. • An understanding of statistical methods and data processing. • A master’s degree in engineering, physics, or another relevant field. • Strong problem-solving skills and self-driven initiative. • Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities. • Desire to continuously improve work processes and enhance team performance. It's a bonus if you also bring: • Experience with automated semiconductor metrology equipment. • Proficiency in a programming language used for data analysís. About Silex Silex is the world’s largest and most advanced pure-play MEMS foundry, headquartered in Stockholm. MEMS technology is moving into an abundance of modern innovations; from data centers, consumer and automotive electronics to medical diagnostics and life science. With a team of expert engineers, operators, technicians, and specialists, Silex brings the ideas of the industry’s leading MEMS innovators to life. We collaborate with some of the world’s largest technology giants and visionary startups across industries such as medicine, life sciences, consumer electronics, telecommunications, automotive, and industrial sectors. The recruitment process We review applications on a rolling basis, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. To apply, please attach your CV or LinkedIn-profile, and answer a few questions. You don't need to write a cover letter. Our recruitment process is designed to ensure a fair and objective assessment. If you progress through the full process, you will start with a digital interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner, followed by a personality and logical ability test. Next, you will meet with the Area Manager for an in-person Hiring Manager interview, and finally with our VP of Manufacturing for a concluding interview. Before an offer, we also conduct reference checks, a background check, and a drug test. Randomized alcohol- and drug testing is conducted for all of our employees during employment.
