About Us Central Child Health Care in Västra Götaland is a regional operation with four service points. The operation is part of the Health and Specialist Care for Children and Youth area within Region Health. The team includes operational developers (trained pediatric nurses and district nurses), child health care consultants, speech therapists, dietitians, psychologists, and administrators. Central Child Health Care works in a health-promoting, preventive, and family-centered manner, aiming to provide accessible and equitable child health care of high quality throughout the region. We follow up and develop the work being done within child health care. We also disseminate research and stimulate knowledge and method development. Additionally, we serve as a referral body for matters concerning care programs, care chains, and guidelines related to health issues affecting children up to school age, as well as for national guidelines concerning child health care. The mission requires dialogue and broad collaboration at local, regional, and national levels. Two fundamental pillars of our work in child health care are the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and proportional universalism; providing a basic level of service to all, with additional support for those who need it most. About the Role As an operational developer, you play a crucial role in providing knowledge support to all personnel within child health care. Together with colleagues, operational developers, and other professionals, you will develop and implement methods and knowledge. Central Child Health Care offers a wide range of training sessions delivered both digitally and in-person. Your role includes developing, conducting, and evaluating these training sessions. You will also collaborate with child health care consultants regarding the follow-up and supervision of the child health care provided at BVC (Child Health Centers) within VGR. Additionally, you will be responsible for following up and analyzing data in the Swedish Child Health Care Register (BHVQ). The work involves various forms of collaboration, both internally and externally. Being part of the regional and national network within child health care is an important task. About You We are looking for a nurse with further education in open health care or in health care for children and adolescents. You have previous experience working at BVC. Experience in training, operational development, project and business management related to child health care is an advantage. Familiarity with MedRave and BHVQ is also beneficial. As a person, you have an excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing. You find it easy to organize your work. You enjoy working independently but also ensure important decisions are well-founded and have a good ability to communicate and collaborate with others. Furthermore, you take initiative and can lead change processes, possess strong pedagogical skills, and are experienced in mentoring others. The work is multifaceted, requiring you to focus on many different tasks and areas of collaboration.
