Do you want to help develop equitable and knowledge-based healthcare? We are looking for an engaged development leader who wants to contribute to strengthening the healthcare sector's work with knowledge management and improving our care processes.
Your workplace
Starting from the beginning of the year, a new operational area for development support will be established, where development leaders will assist healthcare operations with the implementation of national knowledge support and guidelines. The goal is to ensure good care for everyone in Värmland and to use the best available knowledge and evidence-based methods in every patient interaction. The operation will also include various coordination assignments.
As a development leader, you will be part of a team that works closely with healthcare operations and collaborates with other regions within the national system for knowledge management.

Your responsibilities
As a development leader, you will support the systematic improvement efforts in healthcare and the implementation of patient-focused development work based on nationally established knowledge support.
You will play a central role in:
- Leading and coordinating development and improvement efforts within healthcare processes,
- Supporting the implementation of national knowledge support and guidelines,
- Contributing to the follow-up and analysis of process and quality measures,
- Strengthening collaboration between different operations and levels of care,
- Facilitating improvement efforts where professionals and management collaboratively develop healthcare processes,
- Communicating and disseminating good examples and supporting a culture of learning and improvement.
The work will be conducted in close collaboration with managers and staff in healthcare.
Your qualifications and competencies
You should have an academic degree in a clinically licensed profession and experience working in healthcare, although other backgrounds may also be considered relevant.
It is an advantage if you have:
- Experience leading development and improvement work in healthcare or other public sectors,
- The ability to coordinate and lead processes while fostering participation and results,
- Experience in analysis and follow-up.

You are curious and able to work both independently and collaboratively. In this role, you need to be both receptive and flexible, with a strong ability to plan and organize your work. You should also be able to take on a leadership role by creating engagement among others.
