About this role

Job Description We are seeking an experienced CAPEX Procurement Specialist who can drive procurement and contract management for a project involving the replacement of a ventilation unit in Bruchhausen, Germany. The assignment is part of a larger ongoing investment program and involves replacing an existing ventilation system with a new one. The role requires close collaboration with the Project Manager (based in Stenungsund) and several internal stakeholders to ensure a technically and commercially sound supplier selection, negotiation, and contract signing. We are looking for someone with a combination of strong negotiation and procurement experience and good technical understanding of mechanical systems or ventilation equipment. Previous experience in managing comparative CAPEX procurement processes is highly advantageous. Primary Responsibilities • Lead the entire procurement and tendering process for the new ventilation unit and related sub-projects (construction, mechanical, and electrical). • Prepare and drive supplier dialogues – from RFQ to contract signing – according to project plan and internal guidelines. • Collaborate with the project manager to evaluate 3-4 supplier offers based on technical, commercial, and contractual criteria. • Support the project manager with evaluation documentation, comparison tables, and recommendations to management/steering committee. • Negotiate commercial and contractual terms with selected suppliers to ensure the best possible price, scope, and quality. • Collaborate internally with process, technical, legal, and financial departments to ensure approved documentation and decisions. • Prepare, review, and finalize agreements according to company standards and applicable contract frameworks (e.g., Orgalime, FIDIC). • Ensure clear and continuous communication and good documentation throughout the procurement process. Qualifications and Experience • Documented experience as a CAPEX Procurement Specialist, Procurement Manager, or Sourcing Specialist in energy, process, or industrial projects. • Good technical understanding of mechanical equipment, preferably ventilation systems or rotating machinery. • Experience in technical-commercial evaluation and supplier comparisons. • Good knowledge of contracts and industrial procurement standards (e.g., Orgalime, FIDIC). • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Fluent in Swedish and English. German is an advantage but not a requirement. • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams in an international environment. Additional Information • Location: Stenungsund (on-site presence approx. 1-2 days/week). • Scope: approx. 50%. • Start: Preferably November/December 2025, latest January 2026. • Duration: approx. 3 months. • Travel: Some travel within Europe, primarily to Bruchhausen for supplier meetings and coordination. • Language Advantage: Basic German language level is advantageous in supplier contacts.
