Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior IT Generalist to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
• Deliver first-line on-site IT support for end users across Windows, macOS, and Linux platforms.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, escalating complex cases to the external IT service provider.
• Set up and maintain workstations, monitors, and peripherals for new and existing employees.
• Support video conferencing and meeting-room technology, ensuring reliable operation.
• Maintain local printing, scanning, and connectivity infrastructure.
• Coordinate IT onboarding and offboarding in collaboration with HR and the service provider.
• Manage ordering, tracking, and documentation of IT assets, accessories, and software licenses.
• Prepare, ship, and receive IT equipment for staff as required.
• Support and guide users in effectively utilizing M365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Create and manage SharePoint sites and document libraries under the guidance of the IT service provider.
• Assist in maintaining user permissions, groups, and distribution lists.
• Act as the primary local contact for the external IT service provider, monitoring ticket resolution and identifying areas for improvement.
• Participate in small IT improvement initiatives and pilot deployments.
What you bring:
• Several years of experience in IT support or generalist IT roles, ideally within a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong practical knowledge of Windows and macOS; familiarity with Linux (Ubuntu) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience supporting M365 environments and collaboration tools.
• Solid understanding of productivity applications such as Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
• Basic networking, hardware setup, and AV/conference equipment knowledge.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accountability for IT assets.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Service-oriented, approachable, and patient with a proactive mindset.
• Self-driven and reliable, able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with external providers.
