About this role

Are you a driven and committed project manager with experience in change management? Do you want to support managers and employees in the transition to and establishment of an activity-based working method in connection with the move to our new municipal building? Then this is the role for you! The HR department drives and coordinates the municipality's employer-related issues. We are 24 employees working in two areas: HR and payroll. We support managers across the entire HR spectrum through advice, training, and development initiatives, while ensuring that the municipality's HR processes maintain high quality and comply with laws and agreements. As a project manager, you will belong to the HR unit, a team of 10 people led by a unit manager, consisting of HR specialists, health and rehabilitation developers, recruiters, and an HR administrator. We provide expert support in HR-related matters for both managers and employees. Strängnäs municipal building was constructed in 1994 and is now being adapted and upgraded to meet the needs of citizens and employees, both now and in the future. The first phase of the renovation is expected to be completed by the end of 2025, while the second phase is estimated to be finished in about a year. We are now looking for a project manager to support managers and employees in the transition to and establishment of an activity-based working method in connection with the move to the new municipal building. The assignment involves translating the vision and goals for the new working method into practical action, creating engagement, facilitating collaboration between managers, and contributing to the long-term anchoring of new working methods. The position is a project employment for three years, and you will be placed in our HR unit. RESPONSIBILITIES Your main responsibilities in this role will include: • Supporting managers operationally and tactically in implementing and developing activity-based working methods in their operations. • Being a practical and advisory support for managers on issues related to workplace design, working methods, collaboration, and culture. • Coordinating and conducting training and initiatives related to activity-based working methods, identifying needs, planning, and following up. • Creating forums and coordination among managers for experience exchange and joint development. • Monitoring and evaluating how the working methods function in practice and suggesting improvements. • Supporting coordination between different departments and contributing to a unified and inclusive working method. • Contributing to communication and anchoring of the change, in collaboration with other internal support functions. You have a good understanding of how physical, digital, and cultural factors interact in an activity-based working method, and you will drive and manage processes with many different stakeholders. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Relevant higher education, e.g., in behavioral sciences, HR, organization and leadership, or other education we consider equivalent. • Current experience in change management, organizational development, and/or implementation of new working methods. • Good experience working as managerial support and a solid understanding of the daily challenges faced by managers. • Experience working as a project manager or in another similar coordinating role, preferably within the public sector. • Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Familiarity with using IT as a support in your work, such as the Office suite, Teams, etc. We also consider it an advantage if you have: • Experience working with the development/implementation of activity-based working methods, workplace development, and/or similar environmental and cultural changes in a workplace. • Experience in conducting training, presentations, workshops, or similar activities.
