Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is significant. Contributing to community development is even greater. With us, you can do both. We are now seeking a Site Manager for the Industrial Division and our Emulsion operations, with potential placements in Örebro, Hässleholm, Linköping, or Jönköping. At Svevia, we combine the camaraderie and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you will have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist—driven by commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.
About the Role
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for our factories in Örebro and Hässleholm and play a key role in planning, leading, and developing operations. You will ensure delivery capacity, quality, and a safe working environment—achieving this together with your colleagues. The role includes budget responsibility, customer dialogue, and close collaboration with suppliers. Since our operations are spread across Sweden, there is an opportunity for placement either in Örebro or Hässleholm, where our factories are located, in addition to operations in Linköping and Jönköping, which also allows for placement in one of these locations.
Our operations peak from May to August, and outside of this period, the role may involve varying work and focus depending on the time of year.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with previous experience in leadership and personnel responsibility. Industry experience in asphalt or chemical manufacturing is required, and experience in emulsion production is a significant advantage. You have post-secondary education or equivalent experience, preferably in engineering or chemistry. You are familiar with digital tools and communicate fluently in Swedish.
Additionally, we believe you:
• Are problem-solving and flexible.
• Have a business-oriented mindset and drive to develop operations.
• Collaborate and create engagement within your team.
A B driver's license is required for this position as the role will involve travel within your geographical area of responsibility.
Part of Something Bigger
Svevia's industrial division is in an expansive phase, and the ambitions are high. The goal is to be a leading player in the coating industry in Sweden. Behind every road lies more than just the visible surface: a whole industry of knowledge and delivery capability. Our offering is an industrial process—from stone to finished road.
It all starts with a quarry, which then becomes aggregate, used in the production of asphalt, which is finally laid on the road. With over 100 owned quarries, our own production of asphalt, bitumen emulsion, and thermoplastics, we have a breadth that no one else can match. In our laboratories, we conduct material analyses to ensure that our products meet standards and requirements. Our skilled teams in milling, asphalting, tank coating, and road marking ensure that the delivery is complete.
Why Svevia?
With us, you quickly become part of the team, and we strive to be a workplace for everyone. Decision-making pathways are short, making it easy to influence and have your voice heard. We have career paths for those who want to become managers and leaders or wish to develop in their existing professional roles. It is as a team that we create success. That’s how we do business and generate results. That’s how we make cities and rural areas function. Do you want to share the road with us?
