Department Staff Responsibilities
At the staff unit for the new department of Support and Matching, the head of staff works alongside seven colleagues. The staff's mission encompasses several important responsibilities. It provides strategic support to the department head by preparing documents such as the operational plan, work environment plan, as well as budget and recruitment plans. The staff also has a coordinating role for the department's main processes, where decision-making, preparation, and collaboration processes are integrated.
In addition, the staff supports the operational units with department-wide documents and is responsible for good governance, which includes compiling consultation responses, following up on operations, and contributing to long-term planning.
We are now seeking two qualified administrators to join our team.
Job Description
As a qualified administrator with us, you will have a varied and developing role. You will work on analyzing and following up on operations based on goals and plans, as well as preparing documents and reports to support management and the department head. You will participate in and coordinate decision-making, preparation, and collaboration processes, contributing to creating clear and well-founded decision-making materials. The role also includes reviewing materials, providing feedback, and supporting colleagues in their work with operational planning, recruitment plans, and follow-ups. Another aspect of the role is working in the ACE platform and contributing to the development and improvement of the department's common working methods.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a strong drive, excellent problem-solving skills, as well as analytical and strategic abilities. You inspire engagement, initiative, and accountability. You have the ability to collaborate, listen, and build good relationships.
You possess excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing. The role provides close support to management, and the relationship is largely built on trust and confidence.

The position is a permanent full-time employment that may start with a six-month probationary period. The work location is the Swedish Public Employment Service's headquarters in Solna Strand.

Basic Requirements for the Position
- Higher education in fields such as political science, social sciences, economics, law, or another area we deem equivalent
- Experience in qualified investigative or analytical work within public operations
- Good understanding of decision-making processes and the ability to work systematically with preparation and coordination
- Experience in reviewing, quality assuring, and providing feedback on documents
- Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Additional Qualifications for the Position
- Experience in operational planning, follow-up, and budget work
- Interest in developing working methods and contributing to a learning organization
- Good knowledge of the Swedish Public Employment Service's framework programs and initiatives
- Knowledge of and preferably experience working in the ACE platform
