About the workplace
JakobsbergsgÄrden's kitchen prepares and sends out 150-160 lunches and 140 dinners daily to 14 departments across four special housing facilities, daycare services, and meal boxes for individuals in ordinary housing. We are currently seeking a chef who will work alongside three colleagues and a Head Chef to prepare these meals. The lunch consists of two courses and dessert, while dinner consists of one course.
Job responsibilities
- You will prepare flavorful and well-cooked meals that are nutritionally tailored to the guests.
- You will prepare special diets.
- General kitchen tasks such as self-monitoring, cleaning, and dishwashing.
Qualifications
- Good knowledge of ingredients, special diets, and hygiene routines.
- Completed high school education in hotel and restaurant management or other culinary training.
- Several years of experience working as a chef in public or private meal services.
- Service-oriented with a collaborative spirit.
- Proficient in computer use and able to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability - we value engagement, teamwork, and a positive attitude.
Employment conditions
Permanent position, full-time
Daytime work with every other weekend
Start date according to agreement
Individual salary setting. A probationary period may apply.
