Job Responsibilities
As a home care coordinator, you have a central role in the operation. You are responsible for planning and structuring the work so that the right services are provided by the right staff at the right time.
You work closely with the section manager and colleagues to ensure that the operation runs smoothly. Your tasks include scheduling, absence planning, and staffing during short-term absences, primarily using the planning tool LifeCare. You receive orders from our authority department and handle ongoing administrative tasks that arise in daily work.
You also have daily contact with our Malmö residents, relatives, and various internal and external partners, which requires good collaboration skills, clear communication, and a professional approach.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a completed upper secondary education
• Has experience in administrative or coordinating work within health and social care
• Has experience working with the LifeCare system
• Is accustomed to using a computer as a work tool and has the willingness and ability to quickly learn new programs and systems
• Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you:
• Have an education focused on health and social care
• Have experience in caregiving
• Have experience with systems such as Medvind and Mina Planer
In the role of home care coordinator, you need to be goal- and result-oriented and enjoy working in a structured and efficient manner. You have good collaboration skills, are service-oriented, and approach both colleagues and Malmö residents in a responsive and professional manner. With a calm and stable demeanor, you handle stress and changes confidently. You value diversity and demonstrate cultural awareness in your work, contributing to an inclusive and respectful work environment.
About the Workplace
We are now looking to fill a home care coordinator position in one of our units called Kalkbrottet. Kalkbrottet is one of a total of seven units within the ordinary housing department, where approximately 2,500 employees work daily to assist our Malmö residents.
In the health, care, and social services administration, we are Malmö city's second-largest administration with around 5,500 employees. We have the overall responsibility for Malmö's home care, residential care, meeting places, home healthcare, rehabilitation, and its assistance handling.
