Here, respect for diversity and the equal value of all people are fundamental. About the Operation BOOST – the unit for housing and support – is led by a unit manager and two group leaders. The unit includes Kastanjegården HVB and support housing. Kastanjegården HVB: offers six places for both girls and boys aged 13–20 years with psychosocial issues, norm-breaking behaviors, mental health problems, emerging substance abuse, or other reasons preventing them from living at home. Kastanjegården Support Housing: targets youth aged 16–20 years who are assessed to be able to live in their own accommodation with staff support. Support apartments are available in unlimited numbers within the municipality. We accept placements according to both SoL and LVU. Job Responsibilities As a group leader, you will lead the daily work and supervise the staff group at Kastanjegården HVB and support housing. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Leading, distributing, and following up on daily work. - Creating engagement, participation, and a good working environment. - Conducting weekly meetings and being the closest support for the staff. - Together with the unit manager, driving development work, method development, and quality work. - Being responsible for the introduction of new employees. - Collaborating with internal and external partners. - Participating in the management group for BOOST alongside the unit manager and other group leaders. You will supervise ten therapists who work according to a schedule with round-the-clock staffing and one awake night staff member. Your working hours are during office hours. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a trained social worker, behavioral scientist, or has other relevant education that the employer deems equivalent for the position, along with several years of experience in HVB homes or similar qualifications. It is a significant merit if you have knowledge of social law. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and prefer candidates with experience in the field. Experience in leadership is advantageous. You need to express yourself well in both speech and writing. You possess good leadership qualities such as strong collaboration skills, flexibility, clarity, and structure in your work. You have strong analytical skills, are development-oriented, and enjoy working in teams and contributing to everyone's development. You maintain your composure in stressful situations and have the ability to convey this to others. You easily build good relationships and are attentive and clear in your communication. The role includes being responsible for the introduction of new employees. For us, good collaboration with other units in the social office and with external partners is essential. Together with the other group leaders in the department, you will work towards fostering good cooperation between the units. A B driver's license is a requirement.
