About this role

Do you want to help shape the future of payroll work in an industry where tradition meets innovation? At Stenvalls, you will combine your interest in payroll, digitalization, and development – in a company where technology, collaboration, and innovative thinking go hand in hand. About the Position As a Payroll Administrator with us, you will be a central part of an engaged team with an open atmosphere and strong drive. We are currently entering an exciting phase where we are modernizing and streamlining our payroll process – and we want you to be part of the journey! You will be responsible for payroll within one or more companies in the group and will work closely with both HR and finance. This role is for you if you enjoy switching between meticulous operational work and strategic development, and see technology as an integral part of a smarter working life. Furthermore, you will be an important contact person both internally and externally – supporting managers and employees with payroll-related questions and maintaining ongoing dialogue with colleagues, clients, and suppliers. Collaboration within the payroll team is essential, and we help each other as needed, for example during peak periods or in case of absence. With us, you will not only handle payroll – you will develop, simplify, and streamline how the payroll process should look in the future. Your Main Responsibilities • Execute the entire payroll process – from documentation to final payroll and reporting. • Manage time reporting, expense claims, pensions, wellness allowances, and reconciliations. • Interpret laws, agreements, tax regulations, and collective agreements. • Participate in the development and system management of payroll, time, and expense reporting systems. • Support managers and employees in payroll-related routines and systems. • Contribute to digitalization, automation, and improvement of processes and workflows. • Participate in the follow-up, reporting, and analysis of key performance indicators. About You You have experience in payroll management from start to finish – and now feel ready to take the next step. You thrive in an environment where you can use your skills to create structure, improve workflows, and test new digital solutions. You are a clear communicator who can convey messages to others. You are confident in handling reporting to authorities and collective agreement parties. You are service-oriented, providing professional support to both managers and employees, and actively contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment. Furthermore, we believe you are unpretentious, curious, and engaged – a person who collaborates well and takes initiative. We would like you to have: • Post-secondary education in payroll, finance, or equivalent. • Experience with the entire payroll process in both smaller and larger organizations. • Good knowledge of current laws, agreements, tax regulations, and collective agreements. • Experience with systems such as Agda, Visma Expense, Quinyx, Hailey, or similar. Personal Attributes We believe you are analytical, meticulous, and have a knack for numbers, as well as a liking for structure – if so, this job is for you. Furthermore, we expect you to be a team player who sees solutions rather than obstacles and inspires those around you. About Stenvalls Group Stenvalls Group is a family-owned company that grows together with its customers and employees. Our core values – brave, action-oriented, and genuine – permeate everything we do. With approximately 470 employees and a turnover of about 2.4 billion SEK, we are a strong player in the wood industry, building materials trade, IT, aviation, hotel & restaurant, and a workplace where initiative, responsibility, and engagement are highly valued. Here, you will get both the security of an established company and the opportunity to be part of something new – as we build the payroll function of the future. About the Employment The position is a staffing assignment for six months via Adecco, with the possibility of transfer and permanent employment with Stenvalls Trä AB. Location: Piteå Working hours: Monday–Friday, 7 AM–4 PM, with the possibility of flexible hours Start date: According to agreement.
