Ödeshög Municipality is located in southwestern Östergötland, bordered by Omberg to the north, Lake Vättern to the west, the fertile Östgöta plain to the east, and the deep forests of Holaveden to the south. The E4 highway runs through the municipality, allowing for easy access to both Linköping and Jönköping within a 40-minute drive. About the workplace, the BAS Unit: The BAS Unit is a new department within the Social Administration of Ödeshög Municipality, responsible for Staffing, Administration, and Scheduling. The unit consists of four coordinators focused on staffing, administration, and scheduling, one coordinator for administration and operational HR, and one coordinator for welfare technology and planning. As a coordinator, you are a key person in the municipality's efforts to create secure and sustainable staffing within the Social Administration. You will work on planning, monitoring, and optimizing staffing and schedules using digital systems and analyses. You will ensure that resources are used efficiently, that planning complies with laws and agreements, and that operations receive the right support at the right time. The role involves both operational work with scheduling and filling vacancies, as well as a more strategic responsibility for developing routines, digital tools, and working methods. The guiding principles for the new BAS Unit are effective resource management, good service, and flexibility. Working hours will be Monday to Sunday with rotating weekend shifts every four weeks, where weekend shifts are approximately 4 hours in duration. We warmly welcome you to join us! TASKS In the role of coordinator for scheduling, administration, and staffing, your primary responsibilities will include managing the daily handling of substitutes, detailed planning within home care, as well as work with scheduling and administration. Daily detailed planning involves scheduling client services against employees' work schedules to ensure that all services can be met in daily operations. Vacancy management means handling sick leave notifications and filling vacancies where needed, as well as booking our pool staff into operations as required. Scheduling entails creating sick leave schedules, maintaining existing work schedules, and actively working to update the conditions for the schedule in terms of competencies and staffing needs in our scheduling and staffing system. We currently use Visma Medvind for both substitute booking and scheduling. Additionally, other administrative tasks such as resident coordination are included. The expectation is that you will be familiar with all these areas, which means that the days can be quite varied. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in personnel administration, economics, or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer. Furthermore, you should have prior experience in administrative work and experience with planning, scheduling, or staffing, preferably within healthcare and social services. Additionally, we expect you to have good knowledge of staffing economics, the ability to translate statistics into usable formats, and knowledge of laws and regulations regarding work time planning, SoL, and LSS. We also see that you have good system proficiency. Moreover, we value a candidate who can work independently, take initiative, and structure their work effectively. You should be organized and solution-oriented, communicative and service-minded, and possess high integrity. We also consider it important that you have good collaboration skills and can prioritize under time pressure. OTHER Ödeshög Municipality applies individual salary setting.
