About this role
At SHV Staffing Unit, you can make a difference every day. Do you thrive with many points of contact, working solution-focused, and managing multiple processes simultaneously? Then you could be our next Staffing Planner.
In this role, you will play a central part in supporting the staffing needs of hospital operations as well as primary care regarding hourly employees. As an internal staffing unit, we have a clear service mandate where we provide support during short-term absences, workload peaks, training, and holidays. Our purpose is to create security and continuity for patients, employees, and the operations.
We are located in bright and pleasant premises at Växjö Hospital, where you will be part of a team of approximately ten people. We are a smaller unit with strong cohesion, valuing collaboration and helping each other in our daily tasks. As one of three staffing planners, you will work closely with your colleagues and have daily contact with both the staff of the operations and other units we support.
With us, you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and contribute to a workplace that constantly strives to improve. We want you to feel comfortable, valued, and experience that your work truly makes a difference. You will develop within your field based on your strengths and interests, and you will be part of a team where communication, flexibility, and collaboration are central components. Your ability to adapt to changing conditions and listen to the needs of the operations will enable you to provide a professional and service-oriented response in every situation.

JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Staffing Planner, you will have a central and significant role acting as a link between our operations and employees. We are responsible for receiving and managing incoming requests in our booking system for both Växjö and Ljungby hospitals, as well as booking staff and ensuring that the staffing needs of the operations are met in the best possible way. Additionally, we also conduct training for our newly hired hourly employees and our regular staff.
The work is varied and requires you to work in a structured, methodical manner with a good ability to prioritize. You will handle multiple tasks simultaneously and need to organize your daily work effectively. The role means you will be an important point of contact for both customers and employees, with most communication taking place via phone and email.
You will also support our manager with various administrative tasks, such as some personnel administration, system support, booking of training sessions and venues, as well as other administrative tasks that may arise. You will quickly switch between planning, administration, and problem-solving, contributing to creating structure and quality in our joint work.
We primarily work in TimeCare Pool, which is our booking system, and our personnel system PA.
The position is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday, approximately 07:00 to 16:00 and is covered by a flexible agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who are applying have completed a high school education, and if you also have experience working in a similar role or previously as a staffing planner, we consider this an advantage. You are comfortable handling administrative processes and are used to working in digital systems, while also being able to quickly familiarize yourself with new tools and programs.
You enjoy having many points of contact, easily build relationships, and value close collaboration with both colleagues and operations. To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible and able to adapt to new routines and situations where the pace can change quickly. You have good communication skills, a strong sense of service, and a professional demeanor. We are looking for someone who is eager to contribute to the development and improvement of work methods and routines for the unit.
We will place great emphasis on personal suitability and will conduct ongoing recruitment.
