**About the Position**
We are seeking an Archivist for a government agency in Luleå! In the role of Archivist, you will primarily work with the release of public documents. You will independently conduct organization and cataloging work, inventorying archives, and lead the work with deliveries and relocations of materials. This means you will have both internal and external contacts.
The position also includes investigating and implementing the archiving of both analog and digital documents, both independently and in accordance with national guidelines. You will be an expert in archive and document management and will manage procedures within the agency's archive and information management. You will participate in national networks where you represent the group on specific issues.
The work is in constant development, and based on our mission, tasks may change over time. Therefore, you need to be able to handle changes. At the same time, this provides you with opportunities to develop and both broaden and deepen your expertise within the agency.
**Assignment Period and Scope:**
The position of Archivist is a full-time consulting assignment starting immediately as agreed, no later than January 19, 2026, and is expected to last until December 31, 2026.
**Requirements for the Position:**
• A relevant higher education degree or other post-secondary education that the agency, along with experience, assesses as equivalent,
• Previous experience working in archives,
• Experience with the release of public documents,
• Experience with record-keeping,
• Knowledge of public administration,
• Good skills in the Office suite,
• Proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

**Meritorious for the Position:**
- Knowledge in cataloging and archiving issues,
- Experience working in case management systems such as Platina or Diabas.
