**About the Position**
We at Perido are currently seeking an archivist for our client, a government authority in Stockholm. The position is located north of central Stockholm, where the work will be conducted on-site.
**Your Responsibilities**
As an archivist, you will receive and manage documents and records from other authorities. The materials must be organized, sorted, and entered into the authority's physical archives according to applicable requirements. A central part of the assignment is to update the archive inventory in accordance with the National Archives' standards, so it is important that you have a good understanding of the National Archives' regulations. The work may also involve investigating issues related to the responsibility of record creators. Some of the documents may consist of older materials that require special handling, making accuracy and judgment particularly important.

To succeed in this role as an archivist, we hope you are meticulous and structured in your approach, possess the ability to work independently, and are willing to take initiative. You have a solid understanding of how an archive is structured and how it should be managed to comply with laws regarding public access and confidentiality. **Qualifications:**
- At least three (3) years of work experience as an archivist and within public operations
- Good understanding of the National Archives' regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office or equivalent
- Knowledge of document and case management systems (e.g., Platina, Public 360, W3D3, Lipax One Visual Arkiv, etc.)
- Familiarity with laws and regulations governing public operations and the role and responsibilities of archivists
- Knowledge of standards such as OAIS, METS, PREMIS, PAIMAS
- Strong communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
**Scope and Start Date**
Full-time, consultancy assignment for 3 months. Start in January.
