About this role

The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking more employees. Our primary goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the vicious cycle. If we succeed, society will be safer and more secure for everyone. We are the authority responsible for prisons, probation, remand facilities, and client transport. The operational area (VO) Tygelsjö/Ringsjön consists of the Tygelsjö prison with 137 places for men and the Ringsjön prison with 82 places for women, both classified as security class 3, led by a prison manager together with seven correctional officers. Both prisons conduct extensive VSP (Vocational Skills Program) and investigative work, while also providing valuable employment opportunities such as a horticulture business, carpentry with pallet manufacturing, mechanical workshop, assembly/packaging, kitchen and cooking, learning center, and other structured activities.
