At Region Dalarna, you will find a meaningful job where you can make a difference. Together, we work towards a sustainable Dalarna with development potential in all parts of the county.
The Central Operation consists of 11 operating rooms where we perform over 6,000 surgeries annually. Currently, it also includes the postoperative department with 15 care beds. Approximately 150 employees from a wide range of professions work at Central Operation and Post-op, including specialized nurses in Surgery, Anesthesia, and Intensive Care, as well as registered nurses and nursing assistants. Central Operation is one of five departments within the OpAnIVA clinic, and we perform surgeries in general surgery, vascular, urology, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics, as well as eye and ear surgeries. We also assist with external assignments at the hospital, such as MRI, gastro, and ECT.
In an effort to streamline and develop care, the postoperative department is likely to be reorganized in the future, becoming its own department. Central Operation will then consist of approximately 120 employees. We warmly welcome your application! We look forward to hearing from you!
