Assignment Description:
We are looking for a Senior Node Owner & Team Lead – Electrical & Electronics to join our dynamic team.
What you will work on:
• Lead and coach a cross-functional engineering team to ensure delivery of high-quality product development outcomes.
• Remove risks and obstacles, drive continuous improvement, and secure efficient and sustainable ways of working within the team.
• Facilitate and prepare stand-ups, PI planning, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives, ensuring follow-up on all identified actions.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels to enable smooth decision-making and protect the team from unnecessary workload.
• Collaborate with the Group Manager and System Owner to set priorities, balance workload, and guide competence development within the team.
• Contribute hands-on with your technical expertise in embedded systems, ECU functionality, or related engineering areas.
• Own, develop, and maintain ECU hardware and embedded software across the complete ESW lifecycle.
• Ensure that ECU hardware and software meet technical, quality, cost, and timing requirements in alignment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Plan, coordinate, document, and release ECU and ESW, ensuring compliance with strategy, specifications, and requirements.
• Maintain up-to-date structures in KOLA, SW Configurator, and RxSWIN JSON, securing proper configuration and release management.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of Software Requirement Specifications and Technical Requirements for relevant nodes.
• Support knowledge management activities, ensuring effective sharing, documentation, and transfer of technical insights.
• Contribute to solving quality issues in projects, factories, and aftermarket environments.
• Act as the primary contact for questions from stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across functions.
• Support integration and testing of functionalities in vehicles and contribute to Body Builder Instructions (BBIs) when needed.
What you bring:
• BSc or MSc degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Extensive experience in embedded hardware and software development within the automotive industry.
• Strong understanding of ECU functionality, vehicle electrical systems, and ESW lifecycle management.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to guide, motivate, and support engineering teams.
• Solid knowledge of ISO 26262, tools, and relevant development processes.
• Experience in system and architectural design within instrument clusters, connectivity, vehicle electronics, or related domains.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to challenge and support colleagues in technical decision-making.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and networking skills in a global, cross-functional environment.
