Do you thrive on turning complex business needs into smart technology solutions? Ready to play a key role in one of Europe’s largest SAP implementations? This is your chance!
Some words about the scope and your new team
Join a global team that’s shaping the future of supply chain solutions at Sandvik. You become part of a close-knit SAP group – five specialists within a wider network of 20+ colleagues – working across borders to deliver systems that keep our operations running smoothly. Collaboration is key, and we support each other while driving innovation in every project as part of our Global SAP implementation.
Your mission
As SAP Functional Expert in Supply Chain, you design solutions that make a real impact. Your work centers on translating business requirements into technology, collaborating with stakeholders, and driving successful implementations. You review architecture, explore emerging technologies, and help projects evolve into maintainable, high-performing systems. As this role is part of an ambitious, multi-year SAP program, you’ll get a lot of opportunities to learn, grow, and influence global processes.
Your responsibilities include:
• Translating business needs into SAP solutions and guiding design decisions
• Supporting global implementation projects from concept to delivery
• Reviewing and improving technology landscapes to maximize value
• Researching new tools and trends to keep us ahead of the curve
You have your base in Sandviken or Stocholm, Sweden, or Tampere, Finland, with flexibility for hybrid work. Occasional travel during key project phases is part of the job.
Your profile
You bring solid SAP expertise and hands-on implementation experience – more than just support work. A strong understanding of supply chain processes and solution architecture is essential. Fluency in English is required, and experience from consultancy or large-scale SAP environments is a plus, as well as S/4 experience.
Success here means being proactive and curious. You take initiative, dive into requirements, and deliver solutions without waiting for every detail to be set in stone. Adaptability and a collaborative mindset help you thrive in a global, fast-moving environment.
