Infrastructure Engineer MS SQL

Are you ready to take on a key role delivering the MS SQL database platform for internal customers, directly shaping modernization projects like our Oracle-to-SQL migration and upcoming cloud journeyIn Swedbank you have the opportunity to: • Engage in exciting projects related to the migration from Oracle to MS SQL and an upcoming cloud journey. • Work with large enterprise-scale systems with hundreds of SQL servers and a platform serving internal customers. • Design and build new automations to streamline processes. • Drive standardization and contribute to creating robust solutions. • Collaborate with highly skilled SQL engineers in an agile team. • Learn and develop new skills in modern database and cloud technologies. • Be part of a multinational company with career paths toward roles such as architect, product owner, or application specialist. What is needed in this role: • At least 3 years working experience with MS SQL • Solid understanding of the full stack, including virtualization and application • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Swedish. • Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation • Proficiency in Powershell and T-SQL scripting • Self-managed, driven, and decisive, with a strong willingness to learn and contribute across all areas. • Adaptable team player, eager to support service management, analysis, design, development, testing, and maintenance. • Ability to travel when required. • Experience with Infrastructure as Code or with public Cloud is an advantage.
