Vocational Teacher in Cleaning Services

We are looking for someone who wants to teach, guide, and contribute to giving our students a great start in professional life. Adult Education (Vux) includes basic and upper secondary education, special education for adults (Lärvux), and Swedish language training for immigrants (SFI). We offer approximately 1,350 annual study places at basic and upper secondary levels. We are located at Drottninggatan 12 in fantastic facilities, just a stone's throw from the transportation center in Eskilstuna with excellent commuting opportunities. RESPONSIBILITIES As a teacher, you are responsible for practical instruction in cleaning and maintenance. You will plan and conduct lessons where students learn about the profession. Teaching can vary in format, sometimes in shorter, more intensive training periods, and sometimes in longer programs. You will work in a coaching and motivational manner with your students to promote knowledge and skills in cleaning and maintenance. When you start working with us, you will naturally receive a comprehensive introduction to ensure you feel confident in your role. You will be part of a team with two teachers and will closely collaborate with the Job Center. An important part of the position is having operational responsibility for cleaning and maintenance in our facilities at Drottninggatan 12 or 16. This involves both planning and participating in daily operational work, such as cleaning the premises. The cleaning work is used as part of the education, providing students with opportunities to practice real work tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking candidates with experience in cleaning and service industries, including routine and periodic cleaning. A vocational teaching degree is preferred, along with experience in cleaning public facilities, such as schools. Additional qualifications include training in SRY, experience working pedagogically with SFI or SVA students, and good local knowledge of Eskilstuna. As a person, you are engaged with your students and able to listen and understand their thoughts. You need to have a pedagogical, coaching, and motivational approach.
