Description Liljaskolan, Vännäs Adult Education, is seeking a vocational teacher/instructor in the field of heavy equipment operation to teach our training program for heavy machinery operators. We are looking for someone who is engaged and can inspire, is knowledgeable in the industry, preferably has teaching experience, and wants to become part of our team. Work will be performed during both day and evening hours. Job Responsibilities Your role as a teacher is to plan, implement, and evaluate instruction in the fundamentals of construction site operations and machine operation, primarily focused on wheel loaders, excavators, backhoe loaders, and telescopic handlers. The training includes both theoretical and practical components. Typical tasks such as mentorship, team collaboration, participation in systematic quality work, skills development, etc., are also included. Qualifications Teaching certification is desirable. Experience in pedagogical work is meritorious. Professional/Training Certificate Requirements: Excavator, backhoe loader, construction wheel loader, loading machine, and telescopic handler. We prefer candidates affiliated with BYN and trained as supervisors via TYA, but this is not mandatory. Great importance is placed on personal suitability. Terms The position is permanent, full-time (100%), starting by agreement. Permanent status applies if you have a teaching degree and teaching certification in the field; otherwise, it will be a fixed-term position for the 2025/2026 academic year.
