Drottning Blanka's Gymnasium in BorÄs started in 2010 and offers vocational and university preparatory programs within the Social Science Program, Business Program, Crafts Program, and Health and Care Program, including the following specializations: Behavioral Science, Economics, Law, Hairdressing, Hair & Makeup Stylist, Health and Care, and Emergency Medical Care. The school has approximately 250 students and 30 staff members and has just moved into newly renovated premises in Spinneriet in BorÄs.
Vocational Teacher for the Health and Care Program at Drottning Blanka's Gymnasium in BorÄs
Your Mission
We are now seeking a vocational teacher in health and care subjects for Drottning Blanka's Gymnasium in BorÄs. This is a permanent position starting in January or by agreement. You will teach and guide our students within the health and care program alongside colleagues in the work team. The role includes monitoring students' development during APL (workplace-based learning) and collaborating with the labor market. We see you as an important and driving force who focuses on the students and collaborates well with colleagues to develop both the program and vocational subjects.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with professional experience in healthcare, preferably with qualifications as a vocational teacher in health and care or someone who has started their education. If you are a nurse, this is an advantage, but it is not a requirement. Personal qualities are highly valued.
You have a deep understanding of young people's individual circumstances and needs. You have experience or the ability to create a clear structure for the students you work with. You easily build good relationships with both students and guardians, making you a skilled communicator. You have a clear student focus and are driven by seeing young people develop. You are engaged, flexible, and have a modern approach to teaching. As a colleague, you are unpretentious, inspiring, and easily take initiative while seeing opportunities instead of obstacles.
We seek someone with a strong personal commitment to learning and developing our students' knowledge. As a teacher, you are attentive and want to guide students towards the future. You also possess pedagogical skills based on good communication with students. We also see that you are well acquainted with the school's regulations.
