The Swedish Armed Forces is in an expansion phase and on a comprehensive growth journey. Here, you have the opportunity to work in an engaged and cohesive team where you can develop while contributing to the organization’s journey of development. Are you social, creative, and enjoy working on your own projects? Then this job is for you.
**About the Unit**
As a professional communicator, you will be placed within the personnel function (A1) of the wing staff, but you will also support the communications department with, for example, photography assignments for social media. The professional communicator is part of a team that works with attraction, recruitment, and marketing for the wing and for the entire Armed Forces.
**Main Responsibilities**
Your primary task as a professional communicator is to inspire young people to undertake military service basic training and to encourage more conscripts to maintain their engagement with the Armed Forces. This will be done through school information sessions, staffing at the National Recruitment and Examination Agency where you will speak with applicants during their assessments, and by participating in central fairs and events alongside colleagues from the entire Armed Forces.
As a professional communicator at F 16, you will support the recruitment coordinator in organizing events both on and off the wing. This includes arranging recruitment and information events for our conscripts, organizing work experience placements at the wing, and coordinating school visits. Additionally, you will accompany units during exercises to photograph/document and publish information on social media. As a professional communicator, you will also work on relationship management within our customer care database (CRM). Evening and weekend service may occur.
Within the Armed Forces, we always work as a team. Our organization is built on collaboration, adaptability, and a shared responsibility for the whole. This means that we are all ready to support each other, sometimes even outside our own areas of expertise and comfort zones. Therefore, as an employee, you may sometimes face new types of tasks. This is a natural part of the work in the Armed Forces which benefits both the agency and the employee’s development, and you will never be assigned a task without the resources to handle it.
