About the Role As a Workshop Technician at Skruf Snus, you are a technically curious and hands-on individual. The main purpose of the role is to lead improvement opportunities in project form, focusing on workshop-related initiatives. You will play a crucial role in the development of new solutions, prototypes, and improvements using our workshop environment. Here, you will have the opportunity to think freely, test ideas from yourself and others, and contribute to realizing smart designs/ideas. You will represent the company in interactions with suppliers and ensure a positive and respectful collaboration. The Workshop Technician reports to the Engineering Manager and will be part of a smaller team with various specializations in project management and internal machine knowledge. Your Responsibilities: • Provide a safe working environment and help drive a safety culture by engaging the team to speak up and act on safety observations and near misses. Serve as a role model regarding safety. • Actively work to improve results. • Ensure that project goals are achieved through both practical work and project management. • Analyze root causes individually or in a group and be responsible for implementing the action plan. • Develop instructions for new equipment/changes to equipment. Your Profile We are looking for someone who has: • A high level of personal responsibility and accountability for results. • The ability to lead and manage project teams. • A clear understanding of resource management. • Practical experience working in a workshop. • The ability to present to small groups and strong communication skills. • The ability to work with data and information. • Proficiency in the Office suite. • Good problem-solving skills. • Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Meritorious: • Strong Microsoft Excel skills. • Familiarity with structured problem-solving tools, such as fishbone diagrams, 5 Whys, Root Cause Analysis (RCA). • Certified training in workshop equipment. • Previous experience in workshop and food industry. • Experience in CAD design.
