Join us in making society possible! About the job The IT department at the Swedish Tax Agency is one of Sweden's largest, with a vast and exciting IT environment. We are responsible for the operation, management, and development of the IT systems for the Tax Agency and our clients. We are now looking for more Windows Server technicians for our production team, which works with the operation and maintenance of Windows Server environments. The team consists of 10 employees responsible for the availability of approximately 2,000 virtual servers. This year, we will be replacing the technical platform, leading to many exciting and developing tasks within new technology! Your responsibilities will include the operation and installation of virtual servers, including surrounding infrastructure. You will respond to alerts and incidents on the Windows Server platform and drive work on automation and efficiency using PowerShell. You will work on security patching of the Windows platform using SCCM and collaborate with the development team for Windows Server. Your work will also include documentation management. The position includes being on call and some scheduled working hours. Evening and weekend work may occur. The location for this position is in Sundbyberg. In this job, you should: - Have the ability to plan, organize, and document your work - Be helpful and treat others with kindness and respect - Be able to work both independently and contribute to the team - Be willing to share your knowledge and pass it on - Have good problem-solving skills, see patterns, and be able to make distinctions - Express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish You should also have: - A relevant education in IT, or equivalent and relevant work experience that we assess as comparable - At least three years of experience troubleshooting in Windows Server environments - Experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2019 or later - Experience with Microsoft Active Directory - Good knowledge of PowerShell - Good skills in troubleshooting network issues in a Windows environment It is desirable that you have experience with MS SQL version 2016 or later and experience with DNS. Relevant experience in SCCM and VMware is also preferred. Experience working in a larger government agency is likewise desirable. Good to know The employment is permanent and may begin with a six-month probationary period. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
