About the Role
As Web Manager, you'll be part of the municipality's central web editorial team within the Communications Department. You'll be responsible for ensuring our websites are user-friendly, accessible, and technically sustainable. The role is both strategic and operational, focusing on developing web concepts, structure, and content aligned with municipal goals.
You Will:
- Manage and develop municipal websites
- Drive UX work and insight-driven development based on user behaviors
- Define technical solution requirements and coordinate external suppliers
- Project manage both content projects and advanced web development
- Optimize for search and ensure accessibility according to DOS law
- Support editors and contribute to strategic digital communication planning
- Work closely with communication team colleagues and departments on content production and targeted messaging
Are You Who We're Looking For?
We Seek Candidates With:
- Higher education in media and communication studies, digital communication, or equivalent relevant education
- Experience independently driving web development projects and defining technical requirements
- Experience with UX and user-centered design with strong stylistic sensibility
- Experience with HTML and CSS
- Proficiency in publishing tools like Optimizely or Sitevision
- Skill in writing targeted texts and translating communication goals into clear, accessible web content
- Good knowledge of current digital accessibility legal requirements
- Experience using AI tools in daily work
- Strong skills in analytics tools, Office suite, and Adobe Photoshop
Experience in politically governed organizations and management roles is advantageous.
