ÖoB is one of Sweden's largest discount chains with a wide range of products from home and leisure items to groceries and seasonal goods. The company operates nearly 100 stores, has over 1,500 employees, and generates around 4 billion kronor in revenue.
In 2026, ÖoB will launch its largest investment to date. They are making significant renovations across all their stores, a crucial investment to become a leader in the Swedish discount market. This initiative will pave the way for further growth through new store establishments in Sweden! We are now seeking, on behalf of our client, someone who wants to be part of this journey and take a leading role in an exciting venture. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a project that will not only provide challenges and personal development but also allow you to contribute to ÖoB's future and continued success.
The project is expected to last approximately two years, with new establishments planned thereafter.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As Visual Merchandiser for this renovation project, you will be responsible for ensuring stores are built according to the company's layout and conceptual guidelines. You will ensure correct placement of price communication and store materials, support the project team with your expertise, and serve as a link to the central Space & Concept team. You will ensure visual planning is executed correctly and that the store meets ÖoB's commercial standards.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure construction follows the correct planogram
• Verify that all work adheres to conceptual guidelines and that each project team member completes tasks
• Delegate and support the project team in planogram construction
• Coach the team and provide feedback to central functions
• Responsible for inventory of marketing materials and ordering as needed
• Identify and address volume deficiencies
• Create checklists of pending tasks
ABOUT YOU:
• Experience working visually and following concepts
• Creative and open to new ideas and working methods
• Strong communication skills – clear, receptive, and able to give and receive constructive feedback
• Structured and organized with ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate effectively
• Takes initiative, solution-oriented, and confident in decision-making
• Preferential experience as Visual Merchandiser, Store Manager, or Assistant Store Manager

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
• Travel and accommodation paid by ÖoB
• Per diem allowance according to agreement
Work hours are planned as follows, but flexibility is required:
• Monday: 09:00–19:00
• Tuesday–Wednesday: 07:00–19:00
• Thursday: 07:00–18:00
• Friday–Sunday: Off
Note: You are expected to be on-site Monday at 09:00, which may require traveling on Sunday.
