Part-time Care Worker for Group Home Specializing in Behavioral Therapy

Company Description: Habiliteringsinsats is a family-owned company operating in private care and support services. We specialize in challenging behavioral issues within LSS and work using behavioral therapy methods. We are currently seeking new employees for one of our two group homes, Hälleby Group Home. We have recently received a new resident and need additional staff to work hours, including summer periods. The group home is located outside Knivsta. It provides accommodation for three individuals with disabilities/autism, aged 18-65 years. Education/Experience We expect you to be self-driven, creative, and proactive. You have high work capacity and are not afraid of being delegated responsibility. Daily activities are managed in-house, and you as an employee will also participate in these. Your education should be at least a care program or equivalent. Additional relevant education is meritorious. It is important that you have previous experience working with individuals with disabilities. Job Responsibilities Your work will involve working towards goals and guidelines set jointly with the group manager and supervisor. The workplace is a permanent group home for adults with disabilities who require constant support in daily living and training in specific areas – though heavy lifting is not common. The work methods are highly stimulating and developmental for those ambitious about working with individuals with disabilities. Our approach is characterized by continuous supervision, training, and evaluation where your collaboration skills are crucial. Work involves day, evening, and night shifts. Both weekdays and weekends. We work distinctly with behavioral therapy, therefore we are seeking employees with experience and/or a clear interest in such work. B-LICENSE REQUIRED.
