About this role

Minimum qualifications: • PhD degree in Human Factors, Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, Information Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 5 years of experience conducting qualitative research with strengths and shortcomings of different methods, including their application during each product phase such as interviews, usability testing, diary studies, contextual inquiries, surveys, and benchmarking. • Experience in contributing to research communities or efforts, including publishing papers at academic conferences (e.g., CHI, UIST, NIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR, etc.). Preferred qualifications: • Experience in addressing misinformation in technology or academia. • Experience in Human-Computer Interaction. • Experience in using Generative AI products. Responsibilities • Conduct qualitative research (e.g., interviews, workshops) on topics related to responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI). • Develop design and evaluation guidance for responsible AI systems. • Work with vulnerable populations and community-based organizations, and design study protocols to comply with related human subjects and data ethics standards.
