Timber Measurer for Västerås Port - Temporary Position

Your training will take place in close contact with your manager, colleagues, and quality manager. Job Description You will work at Västerås harbor, which will also be the duty station for this position. The current work time is 100% with a work hour measure of 40 hours per week. Your tasks consist of stack measurement of roundwood and other occurring tasks at the measurement station, such as some cleaning and administration. As a trained timber measurer, you will be responsible for the daily operations at the station and maintain ongoing contact with both drivers and customers. After training, you will be the sole timber measurer at the station. The work shall be performed through our core values, that is, in a reliable, impartial, and committed manner. Furthermore, you need to be comfortable working in practical actions and digital systems and be able to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A requirement for the position is having a B driver's license, access to your own car, and the ability to work independently. Above all, we naturally want you to have the desire to work with us! Desired/Meriting Forestry knowledge and experience in timber measurement are considered meriting, as is the ability to communicate in English, but it is not a requirement.
