We are seeking a Wind Turbine Technician who thrives in a dynamic and versatile role while being proud of performing routine maintenance! In this position, you will be responsible for servicing and maintaining wind turbines at our customers' wind farms.

How You Will Make an Impact
In this role, you will primarily perform maintenance and troubleshooting on wind turbines near Hofors, Sweden. You will be based in our hub in Hofors and travel to our surrounding locations in the area. This position offers the opportunity to apply your knowledge in electricity, hydraulics, and mechanics. Together with your colleagues, you will solve on-site problems to ensure high operational reliability and deliver excellent service to our customers.
Other Responsibilities and Tasks
* A significant part of the job is ensuring that on-site work is always performed with safety as the highest priority. For electrical work, we follow the Swedish electrical standard (SS-EN 50110-1).
* You will support our customers both remotely and on-site, performing service and maintenance work, and resolving product issues. This includes implementing improvements and modifications.
* You will play a key role in ensuring annual maintenance is completed on time, performed efficiently, and documented in a structured and organized manner.
* You are responsible for reporting and documenting your work.
* You will work together with Siemens Gamesa colleagues and also with subcontractors. Good collaboration is an important part of your daily work.
Our employees' knowledge is important to us. Therefore, at the beginning of your employment, you will participate in various training programs designed to support and accelerate your development at Siemens Gamesa, which will involve some traveling.
What You Bring
Passion for renewable energy and a sense of the importance of leading change, but also:
* High school education or equivalent experience with a technical focus on electricity, hydraulics, or mechanics is advantageous.
* Experience in wind power is an advantage.
* Fluent in Swedish, both written and spoken. Good communication in English.
* Very comfortable working at heights.
* Good computer skills.
* Manual driving license B is a must. BE is an advantage.
