About this role
We are now looking for two dedicated and experienced family therapists to join the Family House.
One is a permanent position and the other is a fixed-term contract for one year. With us, you will have the opportunity to be part of a unique and skilled team that shares a strong common value base, where well-being, care, and commitment are at the forefront.
Together with the unit manager, two method supporters, and colleagues, you will drive the operations forward, and you will have the chance to participate in development work and improve working methods that truly make a difference for children and young people in Partille.
As a family therapist at the Family House, you will work with psychosocial change processes aimed at strengthening parenting, improving communication among family members, and enhancing relationships within the family. The work is conducted with the entire family or with individual family members. We can work both in the Family House's premises, in clients' home environments, or in neutral locations within the community, depending on the assignment and needs. Our assignments are diverse and range from statutory assistance to promoting and preventive measures. The goal of the interventions is for families to develop their own strategies to manage the difficulties they face. There is a strong focus on exploring the families' own needs and resources.
As a family therapist, you will be responsible for the entire treatment process and will have documentation responsibilities. Collaborative meetings often occur with various parties, both internally within social services and externally, e.g., with schools and child psychiatric services.
We actively work with the implementation of the working and relational approach Partnering for Safety (which has many similarities with Signs of Safety) in collaboration with other units within the administration in the area of children and youth.
We have regular process supervision and method supervision.
Working hours are primarily during office hours, with exceptions for late hours on Monday or Tuesday until 6:00 PM and early on Friday until 3:00 PM.
Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have a degree in social work or a three-year social pedagogical education. Additionally, experience and further education in system-theoretical approaches or psychosocial treatment work, as well as knowledge of social services' assignments concerning children and young people and their families, are advantageous. It is desirable that you have further training in attachment theory, KOMET, CPP, BoF, Marte Meo, the Safety Circle, FFT, or similar evidence-based methods.
The position involves documentation, and we therefore require that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
A valid driver's license (B) is a requirement.
The work requires a high level of personal maturity, and we value your ability to utilize people's resources and be solution-focused. As a person, you are secure, calm, and stable. You are attentive and accommodating in your interactions and possess good collaboration skills. You are accustomed to taking responsibility for your workday by planning and completing your tasks. Since the work involves operating at different levels and with various types of assignments, you need to be flexible, solution-oriented, and creative. You see opportunities in changes and are interested in participating in the further development of the operations.
We place great importance on personal suitability.
