We are now looking for two nurses who are interested in a career in nephrology, combining their role between dialysis and the care unit. In a combined position, you get the best of both worlds: the variety of patient clientele in the care unit and the exciting aspect of acute care, along with the continuity and adherence of advanced day care in dialysis. With us, you will be offered a highly rewarding, enjoyable, and varied job in specialized and advanced nephrology care! **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** In the dialysis department, you will meet patients with acute and chronic kidney failure in need of dialysis treatment. There are 23 dialysis stations, and patients typically undergo three to four treatments per week. Here, you will work with a lot of medical equipment. You will have very close contact with kidney disease patients who come for life-sustaining treatment several times a week, often for many years. Working hours are day, evening, and weekend on a rotating schedule. In Medicine Unit 3, we primarily care for patients with nephrological diagnoses, diabetes, and patients with endocrinological diseases. You will also encounter patients with general internal medicine diagnoses, allowing you to meet a variety of diagnoses. We work in patient-centered acute care. Together with a dedicated team of nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, service hosts, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians, and others, you will be involved in the care process for each patient. We always strive to provide safe and secure care, and to achieve this, we value a thorough introduction with a supportive mentor and continuous professional development.
