Personal Assistants Wanted for a 9-Year-Old Girl in Tumba
Who am I?
I'm a happy, curious, and active 9-year-old girl living with my parents and younger brother in Tumba. I love when things happen! Swinging, listening to music, walks, and swimming are some of my favorite activities. I use a wheelchair and need help with everything in my daily life. During the day, I'm at school and after-school care where you will accompany and help me if working a daytime shift.
I lack spoken language, but those who get to know me will soon understand what I like, what I want, and when I want to have fun. I communicate all the time - just in my own way. With the right person by my side, we can have a great time together!
What do I need help with?
I have extensive medical needs, so it's important that you are thorough, responsible, and confident. You need to be able to provide support in daily life with personal hygiene, tube feeding, medication, and mobility. It's also important that you have a vigilant eye and a calm heart, as I need extra care and help with my breathing and epilepsy.
Right now, I have no assistant, so we will build an entirely new team from scratch. This means you'll get to be part of shaping something truly wonderful together with us.
Who are you?
You are warm, engaged, and quick to laugh. You enjoy working with children and still have a childlike spirit. You are proactive, lively, and confident - and not afraid to take responsibility. You need to be comfortable with and able to help me invite interaction and play with my younger brother and other people.
Experience in similar work or knowledge of medical needs is a plus, but the most important thing is your personality. A driver's license is also an advantage!
Requirements: You must speak and write fluent Swedish, as communication about my needs is both important and detailed. A plus is if you are willing to step in during the day when I'm at school if my regular assistant is sick.
Current Schedule:
* 9:30 PM - 7:30 AM on weekday nights
* 4:30 PM - 9:30 PM on evenings
* Weekend 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM
* Start Date: As soon as possible
Proposed Schedules:
* Position 1: 1-2 weekday nights and every other weekend
* Position 2: 2-3 weekday nights
* Position 3: 1-2 evenings and every other weekend
