About this role

Are you our new Staffing Coordinator? We at the Staffing Unit in Älvdalen Municipality are looking for a new colleague! Here, we work to staff our operations in Älvdalen, Särna, and Idre. The Staffing Unit is part of the Human Resources Department, where staffing, together with the HR unit and Northern Dalarna Payroll Service, has different focus areas within the employer domain. In the Staffing Unit, three staffing coordinators work to attract, recruit, and schedule hourly substitutes for the Health and Social Care Administration, educational activities, the Food Unit, and leisure activities. Collaboration and dialogue with the operations are crucial to successfully fulfilling staffing assignments. What does a Staffing Coordinator do with us? As a Staffing Coordinator, you will: - Independently recruit, administer, and appoint substitutes for our staffing-intensive operations. - Have numerous points of contact and collaborate with both operations and substitutes. - Train substitutes in the staffing system. - Plan the introduction of new employees in the operations. - Work together with unit managers, colleagues, and operations on long-term improvement efforts for effective staffing and appointments based on emerging staffing needs. - Be available as support for our substitutes in work-related matters. Who are we looking for? You are an experienced and knowledgeable administrator who has previously worked with staffing planning. It is desirable that you have worked as an administrator in a scheduling and staffing system. You are well-versed in regulations regarding working hours, schedules, staffing, employment, and collective agreements. You also have experience in competency-based recruitment, including working with requirement profiles, competency-based interviews, and objective candidate assessments. You are communicative in both speech and writing and can express yourself well in Swedish. It is advantageous if you have post-secondary education in personnel and staffing or other vocational training relevant to the field, or you have experience that the employer deems equivalent. We also expect you to have good knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel, and have a strong aptitude for working in a relatively complex IT environment. To thrive in the role of Staffing Coordinator, you are a person with a high level of service, flexibility, decisiveness, and humility. You also possess a good ability to analyze and see the bigger picture. As there is often high pressure in the operations, it is important that you have the ability to prioritize and organize. We work in an environment challenged by the need for innovative solutions to staffing issues. We also frequently encounter regulatory changes that affect our work. Therefore, you need to be both structured and independent, as you will be responsible for your own assignments while also having the ability to collaborate and communicate with many people and operations. This means you should enjoy learning new things and be a trustworthy person who always meets others in a pedagogical manner and with great respect. Good to know Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. The position is based in Älvdalen, but you are also expected to work in Idre and Särna. If you have questions about the position, you are warmly welcome to contact me, the recruiting manager, Carina Eriksson! If you have previously worked within Älvdalen Municipality, we will take internal references. Through Recruitment Guide Dalarna, we can offer relocation services; read more about this on the Recruitment Guide website: http://rekryteringslots.se We kindly decline all offers of advertising and recruitment assistance in connection with this advertisement.
