About this role

Nacka District Court is an open, modern, and development-oriented workplace with engaged employees. We have approximately 150 staff members, and in addition to being a general court, the district court is one of the five land and environmental courts in the country. The general departments of the court handle, among other things, criminal and civil cases as well as enforcement and exequatur matters. The land and environmental court deals with environmental and property cases, as well as cases under the Planning and Building Act. We are looking for someone who wants to combine their studies with working part-time as a court assistant within the judiciary. The position is temporary, and a court assistant works one to two days a week during the semesters, based on an agreement regarding working hours, as well as full-time for at least six consecutive weeks, preferably eight, during the summer of 2026. What does the job entail? As a court assistant, you will work on simpler tasks in the court's adjudicating departments. You will be assigned to the department that needs you the most. Your responsibilities will include: • Registering new cases • Reviewing and registering incoming documents from both the public and other authorities • Handling simpler communications in cases and matters • Processing decisions • Communicating with parties, representatives, and the public You will work alongside various colleagues, primarily court clerks but also judges, clerks, and preparing and presenting lawyers, gaining insight into the entire operations of the district court. The work as a court assistant takes place on-site at the court. Who are you? We are looking for someone studying in a law program who has completed at least four semesters or is undergoing a vocational paralegal training, who wants to work part-time at the court during the semesters (one to two days a week) and full-time for at least six consecutive weeks, preferably eight, during the summer of 2026. You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish, possess good knowledge of the Office suite, and can effectively manage IT systems, viewing computers, email, and phones as natural working tools. You quickly absorb new knowledge and apply your experience flexibly. As a person, you are responsible, service-oriented, and meticulous. You find it easy to collaborate with others and prioritize tasks according to the needs of the organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. How to apply?
