About the Job As a risk expert in the Infrastructure Supervision unit within the Markets business area, you will work on supervising financial infrastructure companies, with a special focus on central counterparties and their financial risk models. This includes designing and implementing FI's stress tests related to central counterparties. In your role, you will also implement new regulations concerning central counterparties and develop supervision methods. You will design and conduct financial risk assessments, participate in risk reviews with institutions, and contribute to internal methodology development. Additionally, you will represent FI in external contexts with market actors and other authorities, and may participate in international working groups. Your Education and Experience We are looking for someone who: • Has a relevant academic degree, such as in financial mathematics/statistics • Has knowledge of financial risk analysis in the financial sector • Has experience working with quantitative risk management models in the financial sector • Has experience with financial risk analysis • Communicates well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you: • Have worked with financial companies' regulatory compliance related to risk management • Have relevant experience from operations/companies under FI supervision • Have knowledge of financial sector regulations, such as EMIR and BMR • Have skills in data-driven analysis • Have previously worked within or towards financial sector supervisory authorities About You In this job, you need to: • Contribute to good collaboration • Work independently based on the values and guidelines governing the organization • Drive your work forward and make decisions within your area of responsibility • Have strong analytical skills and ability to solve complex tasks About Us The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) contributes to a stable financial system, well-functioning markets, sustainable development, and high consumer protection.
