About the Job
We are seeking someone who wants to work with supervision and regulatory development in the banking sector. Here, you will gain a unique insight into Swedish banking operations and the opportunity to influence how banks manage risks. You will work with analyses, investigations, and dialogue with banks, both nationally and internationally.
We are now strengthening our supervision, including through more investigations. We are therefore looking for several employees for our two departments of Financial Risks and Bank Supervision within the Banking area. Depending on your experience and interests, there are opportunities to work with supervision focused on four different areas:
• Credit risks
• Market and liquidity risks
• Risks related to banks' internal governance, risk management, control, and compensation systems
• Supervision of medium-sized and small banks
The role also involves responsibility for developing internal processes and regulations. You will collaborate closely with colleagues and have the opportunity to specialize in areas that interest you.
Your Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who:
• Has an academic degree in fields such as economics, law, financial economics, economics, financial mathematics, or a technical subject area
• Has relevant work experience from banks, credit institutions, other authorities, or functions such as risk control, compliance, internal or external audit in financial companies
• Has knowledge of financial regulations
• Communicates well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
Depending on the focus, the following would be meritorious:
• Experience working with regulatory development
• Experience in project management or investigative work
• Knowledge of accounting
• Practical experience in credit risk analysis
• Experience with internal governance, risk management, and control
• Practical experience in market and liquidity risk analysis, for example, through work in treasury/finance functions or risk control/management
