Are you a trained economist or lawyer and want to work with the Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI's) core operations? We are now seeking financial supervisors for the Markets area. About the Job As a financial supervisor in the Infrastructure Supervision unit, you will primarily work with direct supervisory efforts regarding companies that provide systems for enabling transactions with financial instruments, derivatives clearing, and companies responsible for settlement. Additionally, you will participate in supervising companies' reporting according to the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR). You will also have a role in permit assessments and work with policy and regulatory development issues within the unit's area of responsibility, both nationally and internationally. You will collaborate with industry associations and other authorities in Sweden and the EU. The position also involves participating in the unit's business development, such as process efficiency, and supporting your colleagues within the unit's area of responsibility. Your Education and Experience We are seeking someone who: • Has an academic degree in law or economics • Has experience from relevant work in the financial sector, focusing on one or several of the following areas: compliance, risk management, internal audit, legal, regulatory design, or corporate governance • Is experienced in applying laws and regulations in both Swedish and English • Expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you: • Have experience with policy and/or regulatory development in the financial market area • Have experience from relevant international work • Have experience with risk identification and risk analysis • Have worked with data analysis • Have knowledge of relevant regulations for the financial market, such as for central counterparties and trading venues About You In this job, you need to: • Contribute to good collaboration • Drive your work forward and make decisions within your area of responsibility • Have strong analytical skills and be able to solve complex tasks • Act and make decisions when needed About Us FI contributes to a stable financial system, well-functioning markets, sustainable development, and high consumer protection.
