The Department of Human Geography and Economic Geography is seeking a temporary university lecturer for a full-time position from January 2026 through December 2026.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include teaching and supervising in human ecology. Teaching and supervision in cultural geography and economic geography may also occur. Administrative tasks may also constitute a part of the responsibilities. Teaching and supervision will be conducted in both English and Swedish.
Qualifications
A doctoral degree in human ecology is required for the position.
The appointment also requires the applicant to have teaching experience in the field of human ecology, primarily from a Swedish university or college, as well as documented ability to teach in both English and Swedish. One of the key assessment criteria is the ability to quickly understand and fulfill the teaching assignment.
Since the duties include some administration, it is advantageous for the candidate to have experience with administration and administrative systems at Lund University.
