The Social Care Administration operates under the principle that all individuals we encounter have equal value and are unique. Within the administration, there are IFO, LSS operations, social psychiatry, health and medical care, home care, and special accommodations. Approximately 800 employees work around the clock to support our target groups.
We are now seeking two temporary nursing assistants for the special accommodation Tallbacken located in Horndal. Do you enjoy helping others? We are looking for you!
**JOB DESCRIPTION**
As a nursing assistant at Tallbacken, your overarching goal is to provide care of the highest quality. You will work to support the residents so that they can live their lives according to their own wishes and create a meaningful everyday life for each individual.
Your responsibilities include providing personal care, which involves assistance with dressing, hygiene, help during meals, and other daily needs. You will work based on the individual implementation plans for each resident, getting to know their background, interests, and needs to adapt the care in a safe and personal manner. You will also promote social interaction by supporting residents in activities and hobbies that make their daily lives both meaningful and secure.
Your role also includes performing medical care as delegated by a nurse, such as medication management and health condition observation. You will closely collaborate with other professionals, such as nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and relatives, to create comprehensive care tailored to each resident's needs. Documentation is an important part of the job, and you will be responsible for keeping accurate records according to the Health and Medical Services Act (HSL), including reporting deviations and updating implementation plans.
The work consists of day, evening, and weekend shifts, and it can be physically demanding with lifting and transferring residents, goods, and laundry. Your work contributes to creating a good quality of life for the elderly while allowing them to feel safe and seen in their daily lives.
In the care work within Avesta municipality, co-planning is an important part of the organization. You will be employed in the Social Care Administration with placement at Tallbacken, but co-planning means that you may sometimes work at other units within the administration.
**QUALIFICATIONS**
To fit this role, you need to have completed and approved nursing assistant training. Experience in care-related work is an advantage, especially if you have previously worked with individuals living with dementia.
You have an interest in undergoing training in medication delegation, and prior experience in medication delegation is a plus.
You possess sufficient knowledge of Swedish to communicate effectively with residents, colleagues, and in your documentation. You are accustomed to using digital tools, as computers and mobile devices are a natural part of our work.

You have the ability to maintain professionalism in various situations and are committed to providing a calm and accommodating response. We appreciate that you can easily adapt to changing situations and work purposefully to achieve results while being a good team player who collaborates smoothly with others and contributes to a constructive work environment.
The job requires physical capability to manage uncomfortable working positions, transfers, and a lot of movement, such as walking up and down stairs, handling laundry, and managing supplies.
