The Care Administration works with the core value that every person we meet has equal worth and is unique. The administration includes Social Services, LSS operations, social psychiatry, healthcare, home care, and special housing. Approximately 800 employees work here, available 24/7 for our target groups.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a nursing assistant in Rågen Home Care, your overall goal is to provide high-quality care to our clients in their own homes. Your work is based on the services approved under the Social Services Act and aims to meet each individual's needs for care, support, and assistance in daily life.
Your primary tasks involve helping clients with personal care, which may include assistance with dressing, hygiene, and meals. You will also assist with social activities such as walks or other types of interaction. The work also includes medical care through delegation from a nurse, performing tasks such as medication management and other medical interventions.
You will use a mobile phone as a tool to manage work schedules, documentation, and service attestation. The work also involves handling alarms, making deviation reports, and ensuring that all interventions are documented correctly according to current guidelines.
The job involves moving between different clients' homes, either by walking, cycling, or driving home care vehicles. Since services are performed in individuals' homes, there may be pets, and the work can be physically demanding, involving heavy lifting and transfers.
The work typically involves every other weekend and both day and evening shifts.
As a home care nursing assistant, you are an important part of a team working to provide each client with a dignified and secure existence in their own home. Through your commitment and professionalism, you contribute to creating a good quality of life for the elderly while ensuring that all services are performed according to current guidelines and with the highest possible care.
In the care work of Avesta Municipality, joint planning is an important part of the organization. You will be employed in the Care Administration, placed in Rågen Home Care, but joint planning means you may occasionally serve in other units within the administration. Rågen Home Care will primarily be jointly planned with Kornknarren Home Care, both of which cover work in central Avesta.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are seeking someone with a completed and approved nursing assistant education. Experience in healthcare-related work is meritorious. Previous experience working with dementia, addiction, or mental health is an advantage. You have an interest in completing medication delegation training, and previous experience with medication delegation is meritorious.
You have good Swedish language skills, both verbally and in writing, enabling you to communicate and understand information clearly and effectively. You are a proficient computer user and see digital tools like computers, mobile phones, and various systems as a natural part of your work. Knowledge of e-health and welfare technology such as 1177, keyless locks, alarms, remote supervision, or medication robots is also meritorious.
The work requires physical ability to handle uncomfortable working positions, transfers, and much movement, such as climbing stairs, getting in and out of cars multiple times per shift, and cycling or walking for extended periods. You should also be able to perform lifts in connection with transfers or shopping.
You need to be comfortable working in environments where pets, strong odors, and smoking may be present.
To perform the job, you must have a B driver's license and be comfortable driving municipal vehicles. You also need to be able to cycle with municipal loan bicycles when necessary.
