About this role
Daily Activity is a form of employment for working-age individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism or autism-like conditions, or acquired brain injury.
Daily Activity shall be meaningful and provide participants with stimulation, development, and community. The goal is for activities to contribute to personal development and make it easier to participate in society.
At Daily Activity, we work with a clear empowerment pedagogical approach where each participant's own will and ambitions are in focus.
The starting point for the operation is to create conditions for further development based on each individual's needs.
We are now seeking two employment supervisors for a temporary position until 05/26/2031.
Your Role
Your main task is to provide individual support based on participants' needs and conditions. You will work both in groups and independently with participants in collaboration with your colleagues. Based on each participant's implementation plan, we create a developing and meaningful activity with the personal support needed to support an independence process. We offer activities such as music, wellness, and light assembly. We also have a group that attends riding school in Vara.
Together with other staff in the unit, you will help develop daily activities to meet users' future needs.
Your Knowledge and Experience
You have a high school or post-secondary education focusing on a pedagogical approach and knowledge of various functional variations and their impact on the individual. Or other education/experience that can be considered equivalent.
Knowledge of empowerment/enablement pedagogy is meritorious, along with access to MI, 7TWENTY, or similar methods.
