First Line Social Services
Haninge Municipality is adapting to the future of social services and has therefore established a First Line Social Service.
Here, we have gathered early and preventive advice and support efforts aimed at providing residents with assistance at an early stage to prevent serious issues. We aim to be close to the residents, making it easier to contact social services. For a little over two years, the Domestic Violence Team has been part of the First Line Social Services.
We are currently seeking a temporary social worker for the Domestic Violence Team.
Your Assignment
As a social worker in the Domestic Violence Team, your main task is to offer support to adults who are either victims of violence or perpetrators, enabling them to live a life free from violence. This role includes providing advice and support, as well as investigating applications for assistance and protection from individuals affected by violence in intimate relationships or in contexts related to honor. Individuals affected by prostitution and human trafficking for sexual purposes are also included in the target group.
You will work with motivational tasks, authority exercises, and individual support conversations. Continuous risk assessments and safety planning are part of the work. The role also requires a focus on children and assessing the consequences for any children when making decisions. You will collaborate with internal and external partners based on current needs.
We are committed to offering high accessibility, and together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the team's reception phone and email. By consolidating authority functions and support conversations within the same team, we can provide clear decision pathways and integrated support for the target group.
What We Are Looking For
We seek someone with experience in working with the target group, as well as experience in authority functions and support conversations.
We place great importance on a professional attitude towards our citizens, partners, and each other. To thrive in our team, you need to be a team player who enjoys working collaboratively, but you also need to be confident in working independently on your cases. We are continually working to develop our operations, and you are expected to take an active part in driving and developing the work towards the set goals within the team.
For this position, you are required to have:
- A degree in social work or another higher education that is deemed equivalent
- Experience working with victims of violence and perpetrators
- Experience in authority functions

It is advantageous if you have:
- Training in Conversations about Violence and Conversations about Freedom
- Training in FREDA
- Training in PATRIARK
- Experience working with SU Kvinnofrid and/or SUV
- Experience working with FIT (Feedback Informed Treatment)
Your Competence:
The role involves working with urgent situations, which requires you to be flexible and able to organize, delineate, and prioritize your tasks.
During recruitment, great importance will be placed on personal suitability and the following competencies:
- You are attentive and clear in your communication
- You are trustworthy and have good collaboration skills
- You take initiative and responsibly drive your tasks forward
- You are resilient under stress and can handle urgent situations
- You have the knowledge and ability to document accurately and legally
