About this role
Welcome to Orsa Municipality, a small gem in the northern part of Siljansbygden. Here, wilderness is just around the corner and culture is at the center. In Orsa, we do things together in a straightforward manner with close collaboration and short decision-making paths. In Orsa, we create with people, not for them; here, there is quality of life, and we make things possible. In Orsa, there is community, courage, and creativity.

We in the Social Services for Individuals and Families are looking for a social worker who wants to join our team in the Children and Youth group.
The Children and Youth group consists of five social workers, one foster care caseworker, and a senior social worker who provides support in daily operations. The social workers in the group collaborate closely and assist each other in their daily tasks.
Orsa Municipality's Social Services for Individuals and Families includes, in addition to the Children and Youth group, an Adult group, a Resource group, and budget and debt advisors. You will conduct investigations according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Care of Young Persons Act (LVU), as well as follow up on open interventions, foster homes, and residential placements. We work according to the BBIC model in close collaboration with the child, parents, and other parties involved.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, as this is a requirement for authority work concerning children and youth. You should have a few years of experience working within social services focused on children and youth.
We see you as a secure and stable colleague who works solution-focused but is also attentive and clear in your communication. You are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work while being flexible and able to see opportunities in changes. It is important for us that you have a strong ability to work both in a team and independently. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
It is an advantage if you have previously worked with ProCapita/LifeCare and have experience handling cases according to BBIC.
Interviews with applicants will be conducted continuously during the application period.
