Welcome to us
Polhem's adapted upper secondary school is a creative school where students learn through experiences.
In an open and creative environment, our students develop alongside many adults. With clear rules, we create a sense of security for our students. At Polhem's adapted upper secondary school, activities, nationalities, and languages together form the soul of the school. Here, knowledge, culture, and health are at the center. The school is located near Fridhemsplan with several subway lines and buses, making it easy for both students and staff to reach the school. Nearby, there are cultural and service facilities, parks, and green areas within walking distance.
Currently, about 190 students attend Polhem's adapted upper secondary school. 135 students are enrolled in the national programs, and approximately 55 students are in the individual program.
Polhem's adapted upper secondary school offers four programs: three national and one individual.
• Individual program.
• Program for aesthetic activities.
• Program for crafts and production with a focus on fine carpentry or hairdressing.
• Program for society, nature, and languages.
The school has around 100 employees, and we are now seeking a special education teacher with qualifications in social studies and another core subject. You will play a vital role in the school's mission to prepare and train students to become active future citizens.
