We are seeking a substitute class teacher for grade 5 at Björngårdsskolan.
The substitute position is for approximately 3.5 months. The position is 90% full-time.
Björngårdsskolan is a preschool-6th grade school with approximately 460 students, well-located near Mariatorget in Södermalm, Stockholm, close to both commuter train and subway. The school is part of the same principal area as Storkyrkoskolan in Gamla stan, and the schools have close collaboration.

You will work in a team with close cooperation with colleagues.
Your Role
You will work as a class teacher in grade 5.
You will teach primarily in your own class but also in parallel classes.
Subjects you will plan and teach include Swedish, mathematics, English, and social studies. You will have close collaboration with colleagues regarding planning.
You will document and analyze your work and maintain close contact with guardians when needed. You will conduct student-led development discussions.
Your Competence and Experience
You have qualifications for subjects Swedish, English, social studies, and mathematics, where you feel comfortable teaching all subjects.
You have experience with InfoMentor and know how to write plans and publish. You are quick to learn digital tools and know how to use various digital aids in the classroom when needed.
You have experience with students with neuropsychiatric functional variations and can implement different adaptations in the classroom as needed.
You have experience in following up students' knowledge levels and providing feedback.
You are good at creating relationships and have the ability to be flexible when needed.
You are a clear leader and can structure your work in a good and thoughtful manner.
For potential interviews, we want to see grades and an extract from the criminal record registry.
Interviews will be conducted continuously, and a trial lesson may be part of the selection process.
