**Workplace Description**
We are a school beautifully located near the water in Hammarby Sjöstad, a modern district considered a natural extension of Stockholm's city center.
The school is situated in Luma Park in Sjöstaden, close to forests and outdoor areas. Currently, we have around 920 students in grades F-9 in primary school and grades 1-9 in adapted primary school. Sjöstadsskolan aims to be the best school for every student. We provide high-quality teaching in a safe and accessible learning environment with a focus on values-based work. This ensures that our teaching maintains a high standard. The school's vision is based on the idea of thematic interdisciplinary teaching, inspired by the curriculum's purpose statements to give students a broader overview and context. **Job Description**
As a teacher at Sjöstadsskolan, you will be responsible for planning, teaching, evaluating, and assessing in your subject area. You will be part of a working team and a subject team where you collaborate with colleagues and play an important role in collegial learning to create new and deepened knowledge.
**Qualifications**
We are looking for a certified teacher with qualifications in Swedish and social studies. We prefer candidates with experience teaching in primary school.
You have the ability to design teaching in accordance with curricula, subject plans, and current knowledge requirements. You take responsibility for and have insight into students' results and needs, structuring and adapting your teaching to create a safe and appropriate learning environment. You involve students in planning and develop their ability to learn, both independently and collaboratively.
You are confident, stable, self-aware, and a clear leader in the classroom. You value and create good conditions for collaboration and establish positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You plan, organize, prioritize, and analyze your lesson structure as well as other tasks included in your role effectively.
